Innovationsfondsprojekt Deliver-Care für die Regelversorgung empfohlen!

Deliver-Care innovation fund project recommended for standard care!

The joint research project between the Hannover Medical School (MHH) and Leibniz University Hannover, "Deliver Care" (Delegation and Networking in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases #01NVF18014), has been recommended for standard care by the Joint Federal Committee (G-BA)!

The project focuses on the delegation of medical tasks to specially trained medical assistants (MFA) in rheumatology, dermatology, and gastroenterology. It has been shown that MFA consultations are not inferior to current standard care in terms of health-related quality of life. Delegation enables more intensive care, which improves treatment.

Following the recommendation, the project will be forwarded to other relevant institutions, including the GKV-Spitzenverband (National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds). If the G-BA then includes this form of care as a guideline in standard care, the costs will be covered as a health insurance benefit!
